KOREAN WAR VETERAN

Clarence was born on 9 July 1936 in Velva, North Dakota. Between his birth and this third birthday he and his family moved to Chehalis, Washington, where he grew up. He is the son of Clarence George and Irene Josephine (Erickson) Fadness.

On 12 july 1954 he enlisted in the United States Army. He was Honorably discharged on 19 June 1957, as a Private First Class.

After returning to Chehalis, Washington Clarence met Betty Blatnik. They were married on 26 May 1961, with his father as one of the witness.

On 2 December 1997 Clarence passed away, and is buried in the Washington Veterans Home Cemetery at Retsil, Washington.
