Jonas Hamilton Slade, a native of Van Buren Township, died at the home of his son who resides four miles south of Greenville on the Eaton Pike in Neave Township, at 5:15 o'clock Saturday morning of Brights disease.
Mr. Slade was a highly respected farmer and was 65 years, 9 months, and 3 days old and had a large circle of friends. He is survived by one son and one daughter, who resides in Dayton, and other relatives.
Funeral services Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Abbottsville church, Rev. J.W. Kilbourne of Dayton, officiating. Interment in Abbottsville Cemetery.
