She is survived by two daughters: Terrell (Jack) Barnett and Lynda (Robert P.) Chapman both of Bluffs; a son Kenyon (companion Jean VanTuyle) Lorton of White Hall, seven grandchildren: Robert (Stacy) Barnett and Kathie (Jay) Bishop both of Springfield, Yvonne (Jeff) Hammon of Glasford, Robert P. (Barbara) Chapman Jr. of Bluffs, Brenda (Michael) Flynn of Sherman, Leith (companion and care taker Angela Painter) Lorton of White Hall, and Kendra Jo (Christer) Sandum of Oslo, Norway. There are 18 great grandchildren, one step great grandchild, three great-great grandchildren, and four step great-great grandchildren also surviving.
She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, a teacher and song leader for years in the church. She loved her Lord and all her family. She was a true farmer's wife, raising her family, cooking and sewing for her family. She also was involved in gardening, canning and scrapbooking. Her favorite pass-time was crocheting and reading the newspaper daily.
Services were entrusted to Airsman-Hires Funeral Home of White Hall, Illinois.
