PERRY BENNY DIES IN DECATUR ILLINOIS

James Perry Benny, son of the late James Preston and Allie Bentley Benny, was born October 7, 1898, in Montgomery City, Missouri and passed away July 19, 1951 in Wabash Employee's Hospital in Decatur, Illinois..

He had been employed by the Wabash Railroad at Moberly, Missouri since June 8, 1923.

On August 22, 1931 he was married to Miss Mae Tate of Mineola, Missouri, who survives him, as do two sons, Jim and Joe of the home; also three brothers and a sister, namely: Louise and Locke of Los Angeles, California; John Henry of Lubbock, Texas and Raymond of St. Louis.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, July 22, 1951, in the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City by the Rev. J. C. Montgomery, Jr., with Masonic Services at the grave in Montgomery Cemetery.
