Mrs Dancy Allen Adams, 80, pioneer of Portland, Wis, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs H R Burrington of Sun Prairie, following an illness of 4 1/2 years.
Mrs Adams was born in Portland, lived in Token Creek for many years after her marriage, moved to Endeavor with her husband, and then back to Sun Prairie in her declining years.
She is survived by one son, Delbert of DeForest; one daughter, Mrs Burrington; two brothers, Charles P Mayhew of Woodstock, Minn and Frank of Sun Prairie; and one sister, Mrs Nellie Franklin of Endeavor.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Burrington residence. Interment will be in the Token CreeK Cemetery.
