TEEN KILLED IN AUTO ACCIDENT
Linda Marie Skaggs
Linda Marie Skaggs, 18, of Lynn, died Feb. 18, 2009, in an automobile accident. Linda was killed when the 2000 Dodge she was driving left the roadway, struck a concrete driveway embankment and caught fire.
Born July 27, 1990, in Newport, she was a senior at Hillcrest High School. She was an attendant for the Melba Theatre in Batesville and was of the Baptist belief. Skaggs had recently moved back to Lynn from Texas. She had attended kindergarten and first grade in the school district, and according to school officials she fit in like she had never left.
She is survived by family and friends.
A memorial service was held Saturday at the Hillcrest Gymnasium at Lynn.
