Napoleon L. Bourque, 76, died on Friday morning, Sept. 26 at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo, N.D. following a short illness.
Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, September 30 at 10 am in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee with Father Jerome Felion celebrant. Burial in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery at Trail.
Napoleon Lewis Bourque was born on Dec. 14, 1909 near Trail to the late Peter and Rozina Bourque. He attended school and grew to adulthood in the Trail-Gully area. On April 19, 1938 he was united in marriage to Julia Plante at Trail. The couple lived in Eden Twp. Polk Co. where they farmed and Napoleon was also a painter by trade His wife Julia died in 1977.
Surviving is his son, Bruce of rural Gonvick, four grandchildren, Kenneth, Lana, Greg and Julie and one brother, Wiliam of Oklee, and one sister, Rose Lentsch of Crookston, NN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and brothers, and sister.
The Petterson Funeral Home of Oklee was in charge of arrangements.
Organist was Jennifer Cyr, Honorary Pallbearer Mike Bourque; Casketbearers; David Bourque, Richard Bourque, Norman Boucher, Pete Hopperstad, Richard Hanson and Tony Weber.

Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1986 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Oklee. A Biblical Wake service was held Monday, Sept. 29, 1986 at Petterson Funeral Home. Interment was at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Trail, Minnesota.
