This is my uncle of whom I have never met. He died in France on his way home after Germany Surrendered in May of 1945. About 200 of our servicemen were killed on 5 July 1945 in a train wreck. He was one of them. He was interned in France up to 1964 when the VA contacted my Grandparents and wanted to know where they would like him to be interened, Arlington or their choice. They chose the Aciacia Memorial park. He Finally made it home and was buried in 1964
