Funeral services for Mrs. W. C. (Faye) Shannon, 43, of 2870 Englewood Blvd., will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday from Daniel Memorial Baptist Church, with Dr. Allen O. Webb, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Shannon died Wednesday morning at Doctor's Hospital after a lengthly illness.
She was the former Faye Ansley of Scott County. She was a member of Daniel Memorial Baptist Church, where she was past president of the church choir and before her illness was active in all phases of church activities.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, David Shannon, and Keith Shannon, both of Jackson, her Mother, Mrs. Bessie Hurst. Baker, La., one sister, Mrs. Clyde Knight, Jackson; one brother, W. C. Ansley, Baker, La., three nieces and one nephew.
Deacons of her church will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are; all the Deacons of Daniel Memorial Baptist Church and Dr. John Kitchings and Dr. D. T. Brock.
Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
