Henry Hartwell Truslow -age 81, a native of Nellysford , VA and resident of Mobile , AL passed away at home on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Mr. Truslow was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1948 - 1954. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Lorraine (Mike) Palmer, MS and Arlene (WL) Anderson , MS ; daughter-in-law, Luedean Cancel, Mobile , AL ; one sister, Warnetta Padgett , VA ; two brothers, Howe Truslow and Howell Truslow, both of VA; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, as well as many close friends. Daddy had a gentle soul. He was a man of few words, a big heart and a smile that everyone will remember and miss. He was a Master at wood carpentry. He had a love for gardening and collecting antiques. Daddy, you'll always be a part of our daily life, while not here on earth but in our hearts, and we'll cherish the time we had together. Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery . The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to services. Arrangements by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin St. Ext., Mobile , AL 36606 .
