Son of the late Sylvester Horton and Minnie Mae Ange, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Otis Ange, Leroy Ange, Clifford Ange and Russell Ange. He was survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Grace Swinson Ange; son, Carl Swinson Ange and his wife Pamela; grandchildren, Blair Ange Jarrett and her husband, J.P. Jerrett, Alexis Ange and David Oliver; his adopted grandchildren, Brooke and and Austin Oliver; great-granddaughter, Hylee Ange Jarrett; and many nieces and nephews. He retired from Weyerhaeuser in 1992 after 42 years of service. He was a member of Plymouth Church of Christ. He was a member of the Pine Tree Hunting Club and Jamesville Hunting Club. His funeral was held June 29, 2009, at the Plymouth Church of Christ with Bob Moulden, Elbert Lilley, Johnny Barber and Marty Swinson officiating.
