MRS. W.(sic - M.) F. BERRY PASSES

Funeral services were held from Hebron church for Mrs. W.(sic - M.) F. Berry, of Shivers, who died there after an illness of months. The Rev. J. T. Dale, of Collins, and Dr. J. P. Williams, both former pastors, conducted the funeral rites. Burial was made in New Hebron cemetery. Mrs. Berry was about 63 years of age and was Miss Mattie Berry before her marriage. She was a member of the large Berry family which has been so prominent in the affairs of this section for nearly half a century, her brother, N. V. Berry, being a member of the Jefferson Davis county school board; another brother, A. C. Berry, a member of the Pension board of the county. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Ellis, Sexton and Claude (sic - Marshall Field "Love") Berry, Mrs. Estus Waltman, New Hebron; five brothers, A. C. Berry, N. V. Berry, New Hebron; Fleet Berry, Pinola; Richard Berry, Mendenhall; O. E. Berry, Mt. Olive; three sisters, Mrs. W. P. Walker, Mrs. Carl Mullins, both of Mendenhall; Mrs. Houston Thurman, Pinola.
