Walker Scott Anderson, 58, of Vancouver died Feb. 15, 2009, in Portland.
He was born Nov. 18, 1950, in Longview, to Erdmann "Andy" and Judith (Walker) Anderson.
Scott spent many of his childhood and early adult years living in the Rainier and Longview areas.
At the age of 21, Scott married the love of his life, Jeannie Pritchard May 28, 1971, in Kelso. He earned a degree as an electronics engineer and right of college took a job with IBM in Dallas. After a brief period in Fort Worth, Texas, he returned to the area with his wife and family, living in Vancouver for the past 28 years. He opened a successful business there.
Spending time with his family, bragging about his grandchildren, camping, photography and travel were among his favorite pastimes. His loving heart, sarcastic humor, infectious laugh and constant smile will be cherished and missed by all.
Scott is survived by his wife at home; two daughters, page Wells of New Braunfels, Texas and Kelly McDonald of Tualatin, Ore.; two grandsons, Brandon Price and Noah Wells, both of New Braunfels; and a brother, Jeff Anderson of Rainier.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Ave., in Vancouver officiated by Patricia Brinson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.
