Dennis Franklin Markley,74,died at his home on Bristol,Rt.2,at 6:30 a.m. today.
He was born June 20,1884,in Barbour County son of the late John and Margaret Markley.
In 1904 he married Mattie Martin who died in 1914.
Surviving of this union is one daughter,Mrs.Ernest(Alice)Thompson of Salem, Route 1.
He later married Estella Starkey,who survives along with two sons,Earl of Detroit,Mich.,and Edward of Bristol,Rt.2;one brother,Stanley Markley of Ohio; two sisters,Mrs.Mattie Bowles of Clarksburg,and Mrs.Anna Cunningham,address unknown,and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was a retired miner and farmer.
