MARY ANNE(QUINNELL) ALLYN, age 30, was born in Davenport, Iowa, on September 6, 1978, to John and Debra QUINNELL.
MARY passed away following child birth, on June 26, 2009.
MARY graduated from Valley High School in 1996. She obtained a bachelors degree at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa and a graduate degree from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa.
MARY currently was employed at ITT Tech as the Registrar.
On June 12, 2006, MARY was united in marriage to DR. JEFFERY ALLYN. They resided in West Des Moines, Iowa, with her three step children.
MARY had a loving acceptance of people and touched many lives with her kind and generous heart.
MARY IS SURVIVED BY her spouse~ Jeffery and her newborn son~ Liam Quinn; step children~ Sam, Chloe and Noah; her parents~ John and Debra QUINNELL; her brother~ Daniel and wife Jodi QUINNELL, of Arvada, Colorado; Grandparents~ Dennis and Janice DUFFIELD, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and many family and friends.
MARY WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY her Grandparents~ Ellsworth and Iris QUINNELL.
Visitation will be at McLaren's Resthaven Chapel, in West Des Moines, Iowa, on Monday, June 29, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m.
In Celebration of MARY's life, services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at 11 a.m., at St. Mark Lutheran Church in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Burial will be at RESTHAVEN CEMETERY, West Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a fund established in MARY's name for her son, Liam Quinn ALLYN.
