Native of Wells, Mrs. Beihold Died
A native of Wells County, Mrs. Emily Beihold, 91, of Decatur Route 1, widow
of William F. Beihold, died at 7 p.m. Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs.
Carl Cook of Claypool Route 2, where she had resided the past seven years.
She was a former member of the Decatur Missionary Church.
Born in Wells County May 11, 1887, she was a daughter of Thomas and
Lucy Wolf-Henline, and was married on June 16, 1910 to William F. Beihold,
who died March 31, 1951.
Surviving are nine children, Mrs. Nelson (Olive) Cook of Bourbon, Lawrence
W. Beihold of Hoagland, Mrs. Carl (Elizabeth) Cook of Claypool Route 2, Mrs.
Floyd (Avonelle) Strouse and Mrs Robert (Vera) Goldner, both of Decatur
Route 1, Rev. T. E. Beihold of Tipton, Wilmer F. Beihold of Decatur Route 3,
Miss Imogene Beihold of Lake Forest, Ill., and Mrs Bert (Nelvalene) Brooks of
Gibsonia, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Rogers of Chauteau, Okla.; two half-
sisters, Mrs. Waldo (Frances) Blanchard of Amarillo, Tex.; one half-brother,
John Henline of Ponca City, Okla.; 26 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Zwick Funeral Home
in Decatur and at 2 p.m. at the Decatur Missionary Chruch, with Rev. Herold J
Welty and Rev. Gerald Gerig officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur
Cemetery.
