David Ted Badham, 85, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, February 25, 2006, at the hospital in Mesquite, Nevada after a long battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

He was born on July 18, 1920 in Soda Springs, Idaho to John Vicory Badham and Della Deon Quigley Badham. He grew up and attended schools in Payson, Utah. He played tennis for Payson High School, graduating in 1938. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the South Pacific during World War II.

He married Anna Marie Johnson on December 28, 1944 in Payson, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She died in 1984. He married Maria Louisa Bourgeois on May 6, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dave worked for Union Pacific Railroad both before and after his military service and retired from the U.P.R.R. Signal department. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and golfing. He was a wonderful dancer and loved to sing and dance with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Maria, of Mesquite, Nevada; his four children, David L. Badham of Bountiful, Utah; Robert V. Badham (Lenene) of West Valley City, Utah; Connie M. King (Randy) of Elk Ridge, Utah; Nancy A. Badham of Phoenix, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Gasser (Vernile) of Elk Ridge, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Anna Marie, and 5 sisters: Deon Peery, Aileen Johnson Cloward, June Thomas, Jane Tudor, and Gayle Ray Ford.
