MRS. ELIZABETH PERRINE

Mrs. Elizabeth Buckley Perrine, 85, widow of Fleming Perrine, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carrie Barker, New Castle, Saturday evening, following an illness of nine months.

Mrs. Perrine was born in Venango-co. Dec. 12, 1858, a daughter of Joseph and Sarah Mears Buckley. She was married April 22, 1879, to Fleming Perrine, of Perrine's Corners, Mercer-co, where they resided on the Bennett Perrine farm nearly 50 years until the death of her husband, Oct. 3, 1928. Since then, Mrs. Perrine lived at the old homestead with her son, the late Herman Perrine, and lately with Mrs. Barker at New Castle. She was a member of the Zion Wesleyan Methodist church, and took an active part in the church services.

She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Barker, New Castle; Dr. J. B. Perrine, Grove City; Homer Perrine, R. D. 2, Stoneboro, and Mrs. Grace Osborn, Oil City; 19 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Buckley, Sandy Lake, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Henderson, Hendersonville.
