Mrs. Berger Of Axtell Dies

Mrs. Rosa Berger, 81, of Rt. 1, Axtell died Saturday afternoon in a Waco hospital.

Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elk, Rev. Victor Goetz officiated. Burial was in St. Martin's Cemetery in Tours.

Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Littlepage Funeral Home in Mart.

Mrs. Berger was born August 10, 1893, in Tours. She married Frank Berger who died April 17, 1967. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Elk.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. O.T. Berry of Waco, Mrs. Charles Barton of Dallas and Mrs. S.R. Milliken of Rumson, New Jersey; five sons, Frank Berger and Charlie Berger, both of Waco, Andrew Berger and Raymond Berger both of Elk and Robert Berger of Auburn, Alabama; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
