Denny was raised in Waterford Michigan and graduated from Our Lady of the Lakes High School. Late in life he attended many classes at Oakland Community College in horticulture. He worked for his father and owner of Drayton Collision and Glass since childhood and purchased and took over the business in the late 1970's.
He married Sharon (Krause) and had 2 children; Kelly Michele Forster who predeceased him in October of 1992, and Karrie Rae Forster who gave him three beautiful grandchildren; Chelsea Marie Caldwell, Tyler Allen Caldwell, and Makenzie Rae Caldwell.
He married Janet Lee(Johnson) and had one child; Cristeen Denay Forster who gave him one beautiful grand daughter, Haylee Denay Heise, who he saw on an ultrasound photo at only 12 weeks of gestation. Haylee was born 6 months after Denny's life was cut short when he died suddenly of colon cancer.
Denny was also step father to Janet's daughter, Aimee Marie Hilliard and grandpa to her children; Trisha, Travis, Talon, Kendal, Mea,Peyton, Sydney and Natasha.
During his lifetime Denny enjoyed the water, sports, gardening, camping, woodworking, racquetball, bowling and collecting stamps and coins. He was a member of the Waterford Jaycees, worked on many projects and made multiple contributions in the community.
Denny also ran Forster's Complete Lawn Care with his second wife Janet and together they built crafts and enjoyed traveling to craft shows to sell their projects. He was a very proud member for 22 years of AA, and was also involved with Amway distribution for a few years. After retiring from Drayton Collision and Glass in the early 2000's he worked many side jobs including office cleaning and plant and flower nursery stock and sales.
He was married to Leilani Marie (Ford) for almost 5 years at the time of his death and was living in Oxford.
Denny will be missed by his children, grandchildren and all of his family and friends. He left an imprint everywhere he went as a all around good guy.
