Vivian Imogene Stephan, age 81 of Finksburg, died Tuesday June 30, 2009 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. She was born December 21, 1927 in Patapsco, MD the daughter of the late Charles J. and S. Elizabeth Walsh Sykes. She was the wife of the late Maurice L. Stephan who died in 2000. She was a member of Patapsco United Methodist Church. She worked for 18 years on the assembly line at Gould Co. and Telemechanique. She was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with grandchildren and family. She is survived by daughters and sons-in law, Betty Ann and David Cleary of Hampstead and
Marcelene L. and Dale Lee Miller of Westminster and daughter, Cheryl "Bootsie" Stonesifer of

Westminster; grandchildren, Lisa Blubaugh, April Becker, Scott Taylor and Klair "Buddy" Stonesifer

III; step grandson, Tommy Cleary; four great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, two great

great grandchildren; also survived by friends, James and Betty Blanchette and daughters and numerous

nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Russell, Rosco, Joel "Sonny", Delmis "Bud", Marvin "Hoss", Verna and Shirley Sykes, Erma Harmon, Oneida Blizzard and Vera Boone. A funeral service will be held at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster Friday 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Richard K. Shamer and Rev. Mindy B. Coates officiating. Interment will follow in Patapsco Methodist Cemetery.
