Anthony "Tony" Catchot, 61, died at his home on Ford Avenue Wednesday at 7:40 am. Although in ill health for several months, Mr. Catchot's death came as a sudden shock, as he had worked the night before. Mr. Catchot, formerly of Ocean Springs and connected with the L. & N. Railroad for 41 years, has been a resident of Pascagoula 23 years, where he was bridge tender for the L. & N. Railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Callie Catchot, two daughters, Mrs. J.E. Williams and Mrs. John Warren, two stepsons, Edward George and Robert Goff, all of Pascagoula.; two brothers, Frank Catchot of New Orleans and Arnold Catchot of Ocean Springs, and six grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed, awaiting arrival of relatives.
