Albert L. Horine Sr.
Albert L. Horine, Sr., 84, of Overland Park, KS, passed away February 22, 2003, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2003, at Overland Park Baptist Temple, 11648 Antioch, Overland Park, KS, at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Horine was born January 24, 1919, in Webb City, MO. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard in WWII. He was employed at J.A. Tobin Const. for 45 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Charles; eight brothers; and three sisters. Mr. Horine is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris; one son, Bob; one son, Albert, Jr. and wife, Pat; one grandson, Pete; two granddaughters, Lisa and Nicole; two stepgranddaughters, Rhonda and Brenda. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and football. He was a wonderful, kind and generous man. He leaves many friends and will be sadly missed.
