Wheatcroft Woman Dies After Car Crash.
Mrs. Mamie Collins, 66, widow of Dr. George C. Collins of Wheatcroft, died following an automobile crash near Marion Friday.
She died in a Marion hospital of what authorities said was shock. She was driving alone when her car went out of control near Rosebud Church in Crittenden County and crashed.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Curry H. Morgan of Wheatcroft; a sister, Mrs. J.O. Lofton of Shady Grove, and a granddaughter, Beverly Morgan.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rock Springs Church, with the Rev. Raymond Hazel officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bob Wallace and the Rev. herbert Lewis.
Burial was in the church cemetery. **
