Hank Bromirski, age 53, died May 30, 2002 at his residence in St. Augustine. He was a native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine and a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church and graduate of St. Joseph Academy. He was employed by Northrop Grumman for the past 16 years and had formerly worked for the Shrine Shop. Hank was very active as a coach and volunteer for St. Augustine Little League for many years. He was an avid sport fisherman and in 2001 was awarded a citation from the State of North Carolina for catching a record 375-pound blue fin tuna.

A funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2002 at St. Anastasia Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Seamus OíFlynn and Thomas P. Walsh officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002 with prayers at 5 p.m. at St. Anastasia Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Karen Beeson Bromirski of St. Augustine; sons, Aaron M. Bromirski of St. Augustine, and Jason A. Keating and his wife Melissa of Palm Coast; his father, Henry L. Bromirski Sr. of St. Augustine; a brother, John H. Bromirski of St. Augustine; and a sister, Mrs. Signe Cutrone and her husband Luke of Slidell, La., and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by extended family members that included his father-in-law Kenneth H. Beeson, sisters-in-law Alexis Beeson, and Bonita L. Layfield and her husband Randy.
