W. I. H. Epling died at 10:30 oclock Tuesday at his home in Mt. Zion, of which place he was a well known resident.
He was born May 26, 1838 in Virginia and was married to Lusetta Cox, October 3, 1867. He came to Illinois in 1841 and settled in Macon county.
Two sons and four daughters survive him. They are William H and Charles Epling, Mrs. W.S. Traughber, Mrs. S. B. Froman, Mrs. Harry Smith and Miss Lottie Epling.
The funeral will be held from the residence in Mt Zion Thursday at 10 am. Rev. M. C. Cockrum will conduct the service.
