Mr. Estes was a native of the western section of the county and was sixty-seven years of age. He was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist church, and at the time of his death was a deacon. He was active in the affairs of his denomination, and was a useful and valued citizen of his part of the county.
He leaves a widow, who was Miss Ida Wilks, one son, Mr. T. O. Estes, Jr., and two daughters - Mrs. Doyle McCallum and Miss Ruby Estes, all of Leeds. He is also survived by two brothers - Messrs. John R. and W. P. Estes, both of Leeds - and four sisters - Mrs. Eli Wilks, Mrs. C. F. Wade, and Miss Margaret Estes, of Leeds, and Mrs. W. J. Carter of McConnellsville.
