Napoleon, affectionately called Polie or Rollie Polie, was born on a dairy farm in Hatherop, Gloucestershire, England. He was adopted, along with Sammie, his brother, and Hillary, his sister, by us when he was 5 weeks old.

On the drive home from the dairy farm, the three were in a large box on the front seat of the car. Polie managed to get out of the box, sit on top of it, watch the world go by, and tell me exactly what he thought of my driving. Then and there, I knew we had a very special kitty.

Polie acted more like a dog than a cat. He followed us every where in the house, loved to sit in the hammock with Dad or Mom and enjoy the sunshine and butterflies. He loved his tuffie mice and would retrieve them when the mice were tossed around the room. Polie was a very social cat. If the door bell rang, he had to be right there to see who had come to see him. He escorted everyone into the house and made sure they made over him.

He loved to sleep on Mom's ankles at night or snuggle under the covers between Mom and Dad. He, along with his brother and sister, kept Mom company when Dad was working overseas.

He is now playing with Sammie and Hillary.

You are very much loved and missed by us.
