Harry L. Highfill , 85, Kansas City, Kan., died Aug. 19, 1994, at the home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Davis Chapel, Leavenworth; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Potter, Kan.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel. Mr. Highfill was a lifelong area resident. He worked in the maintenance department for the Montgomery Ward & Co. before he retired. His wife, Dorothy Reece Highfill , died in 1988. Survivors include a daughter, Loretta Browning, Rushville, Mo.; three sisters, Martine Piper, Atchison, Kan., Frances Gillaspie and Nellie Noll of Leavenworth; and a granddaughter.
