The infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Harry E Modesitt, of 310 North Elm street, died shortly after birth at an early hour this morning at the Clay county hospital. Besides the parents, the baby is survived by a brother, Thomas Wayne, and the grandparents, Mr and Mrs A L Modesitt and Mr and Mrs Austin Courtney, all of whom reside north of the city on R.R.I. The body was removed to the Lawson & Son funeral home, where private services were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock, followed by interment at Calcutta cemetery.
