Georgiana Vandruff was born in Rock Island county, Illinois, Nov. 7, 1865 a daughter of Joshua and Catherine Williams Vandruff, and came to Kansas with her parents when four years old. She was married to L. L. Davison March 1, 1884, and died of typhoid fever Sept. 10, 1899, leaving a kind husband and two fond children, Iva and Irvin, with mother, brothers and sisters and a host of friends to mourn her early departure from their midst.
The esteem in which Mrs. Davison was held by the people was shown by their presence at her funeral. The procession numbered fifty-eight teams.
Mrs. Davison was an energetic and earnest church worker and will be greatly missed. Truly her seat will be empty.
