Married Wyatt Adkins on Oct. 8, 1919.
Mother of George Everett, Burns, Earl, Wyatt Jr., Raymond (born 1939), Ruth (born 1942), Irene (born 1920) , and Vivian Adkins (born 1930).

Sally G. Wilson & George Frederick Dixon
Event: Nickname Went by the name of Dixon
Note: According to Nora's granddaughter, Mary Adkins Pinion, her grandmother is the daughter of Gus Preston and what was probably one of his cousins, an unknown Childers. The Childers mother was very ill and Gus' wife gave the infant to the family of George & Sally Wilson Dixon to raise. Her grandmother remembered her mother coming to see her once and she had a small boy with her. All she could remember was that they both had flaming red hair. Gus came often and one day came to give her something and say good bye. He was moving away. She later found his obituary in an Ashland newspaper and he died at age 87. His wife had predeceased him.

She was raised a Dixon but I placed all her names so she can be found by anyone.

Adoptive father:
