Mr. Delmas McRay Adams - A native of Andalusia, AL and resident of Grand Bay, AL died Saturday, February 3, 2001 in Singing River Hospital. He was a member of the Evangel Temple Church of Moss point, MS. He was happily retired from Mobile County Sheriffs Department after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Adams; step daughters, Dorothy Mae Leggs of Gulf Shores, AL and Mary Lou Spellmeyer of Grand Bay, AL; step son, Harry Jones of Houma, LA, sisters, Mrs. Betty Jean Burnett of Mobile, Lillis Jeanette Killett of Kenner, LA and Janice Marie Cross; brothers, Dalton H. Adams of New Orleans, LA, Joseph E. Adams of Memphis, TN, Kennith E. Adams of Mobile, and David D. Adams of Birmingham, AL; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Funeral Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements by Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6110 Three notch Rd. Mobile, AL.
