Clarence E. Martin

Clarence E. Martin, 73, of Woodburn, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 30, in a Portland hospital.

Born February 26, 1894, in Minnesota, he came to Woodburn from Billings, Mont., in 1963. He was a retired farmer and a member of the World War I Veterans of Keizer.

Survivors include the widow, Anna of Woodburn; daughters, Mrs. Gerald Brewster of Billings, Mrs. Del Garner and Mrs. Adam Nickel, both of Woodburn; brothers, Richard of Nevada, Iowa, Henry of Benson, Minn., Roy of Everett, Wash.,m Chester of Bismark, N.D. and David of Sunberg, Minn.; sisters, Mrs. Jack Henkes of Battle Lake, Minn., Mrs. Elmer Oleson of Eugene, Mrs. Art Johnson of Fergus Falls, Minn., Mrs. Jack DArcy of Indianpolis, Ind. and Mrs. Olaf Anderson of Fargo, N.D.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m., in the Simon Woodburn Funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Willamette National cemetery, Portland.
