A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today in Evans-Kriegler Funeral Chapel for Frank M. Azevedo, 83, who died Tuesday in a Modesto convalescent hospital after a long illness.
A Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joachim's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Hills Ferry Cemetery.
A native of the Azores, Mr. Azevedo had lived in Newman since 1930 and was a retired dairyman. He was a member of IDES.
He leaves his wife, Mary of Modesto; one son, Manuel F. Azevedo of Modesto; and seven grandchildren.
