Elizabeth Rheinschild, of Bismarck, Saguache County, Colorado, and Franz J. Albers, also of Bismarck were married November 23, 1875 at Bismarck by Ira S. Bennett, J.P. residing at Bismarck. Witnesses of record were Phillip Garner and James Schultz.

[NOTE: This information comes from Certificate No. 37, recorded on p. 25 in the first Book of Marriages, Saguache County, Colorado. There are no original documents held by the county. Elizabeth's last name was spelled "Rhienchild" in the record book, and the now-extinct German town was spelled "Bismark." It was located about 8 miles from Villa Grove. The marriage record has a file date of November 24, 1876, but it appears that it was incorrectly transcribed and probably should have been 1875.]

Elizabeth and Franz had a son, John, born September 24, 1876. Franz died in 1878. Residing at Major Creek, she married Nathan Russell December 24, 1878 at Cotton Creek, Saguache County, Colorado. They were married by Willard B. Felton, Saguache County Judge residing at Saguache. Witnesses of record were George Neidhardt and Mrs. Laura Neidhardt. [This information comes from Certificate No. 81, recorded p. 60, in the first Book of Marriages, Saguache County, and filed December 26, 1878.]
