John R. Morton
John R. Morton, Nanticoke Towers, Nanticoke, died Monday in Mercy Hospital, Nanticoke.
He was born in Warrior Run, son of the late Hubert and Susan Howells Morton. Mr. Mortonwas an Army veteran of World War II and was formerly employed in Loomis Colliery. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, West Nanticoke, and a charter member of Tilbury Fire Co.
He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine Zentz; nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Thursday at 11 from Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home, 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. Thomas Snyder, pastor, officiating. Entombment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Wednesday, 7 to 9.
