HILLSBORO -- William R. Rose, 66, resident of Route 1, passed away here following a two weeks illness.
He is survived by his wife and six sons, Willis, Albert, Charley, Harvey, Leamon and Ernest Rose. One daughter, Miss Elsie Rose, also survives. A number of grandchildren and one great-grandchild also are among the survivors.
Burial services were held at Smyrna cemetery on Monday afternoon, a large concourse of friends and sorrowing relatives being present.
The deceased was a fine citizen. He had resided here all his live.
