Portland Observer, 16 Mar 1939
Most recent demise was that of Robert Warner, 50, who lived northwest of
Mulliken. He died at 9 p.m. Monday at St. Lawrence hospital, Lansing, of
pneumonia, after an illness of one week.
Funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. today at the home of his mother, Mrs. John
Warner in Mulliken. Burial was in Danby cemetery.
The deceased is survived by the widow, who was formerly Miss Elsa Brown of
Sebewa; a daughter, Margaret, 13, and a son, Douglas, 17, a Portland High
school senior. Besides the mother there are two sisters living in Grand Ledge,
Mrs. Elliott Allen and Mrs. James Winnie.
