He had worked as a Laborer for Carter Construction Company. Robert was born October 18, 1969 in Anderson County. Survivors: mother, Wanda Trowbridge Massengale & special friend, Bill Province of Clinton father, Leon Massengale of Clinton special aunt & uncle, Betty & Dennis Byrd of Clinton aunts & uncles, James & Pat Trowbridge of Clinton, Shirley & Johnny Walker of Norris, Betty & Russ Bolton of Titusville, FL, Hazel & Gene Smothers of Pensacola, FL, Nancy & Al Frisenda of Orlando, FL, Edna & Bill Lewallen of Lake City several cousins & friends. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2003 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
