ALEXANDER W. BUCK
---Alexander W. Buck was born in Athens, Co., Ohio, May 11, 1863 and died at the family home at Grain Valley, Mo., Jan. 5, 1928, of dropsy and Bronchial pneumonia. He was the son of James and Catherine Buck. He was married to Miss Maggie Bunch, March 26, 1893 at La Crosse, Mo. He was one of 12 children all of whom with his father and mother preceded him except one brother. He leaves, beside his wife, one brother, Mathew Buck of Roosevelt, Okla., a number of nieces and nephews and a large host of friends and neighbors. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist church, called Pleasant Grove, near Kansas City.
---A man of good judgement and industry he prospered, through the years aided by his faithful helpmate.
---Funeral services were held at the Christian church in this city, Sunday afternoon, at 2 0'clock conducted by Rev. Geo. Edwards of Macon and Rev. J. L. Shoemaker.
---Interment in La Plata cemetery.
