Special to The State. Vance, June 18.---The body of Pvt. Ernest Vogt was laid to rest at Bethlehem church last Thursday afternoon. His pastor being absent, the funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Harbin of Holly Hill. Six ex-service men acted as pallbearers and at the conclusion of the services taps were sounded over the grave. Mr. Vogt made the supreme sacrifice in France, where he died in a hospital during the fall of 1918.
