Mrs John E Betz
Mrs John E Betz, aged 60 years, died at the State Hospital, at 6:30 o'clock last night, from a stroke of paralysis which she suffered on Friday night.
Mrs Betz was born in Stockton, and spent her entire life in this region. Her husband was killed 16 years ago at the Cranberry mines.
She is survived by the following children: Ellsworth Betz, Port Carbon; Willard Betz, Philadelphia; Lester Betz, West hazleton, and Mrs Earl Koehler, Philadelphia, also the following sisters: Mrs Dorothy Schavner, Hazleton; Mrs Margaret Snyder, Hazleton; Mrs Martha Schumacher, Forty Fort; Mrs Anna Krause, Audenreid; Mrs Emma Miller, Hazleton.
