He enjoyed being a Boy Scout Troop Master, and was an expert campfire cook.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM on Thursday, July 9 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Friday, July 10, 2009, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Rob Glidewell.
Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.

He is survived by his Mother, Gladys Gray Dixon of Cicero, IL; a Son – Scott Barnes and Wife, Priscilla, of Burbank, IL; a Sister – Marie Scott of Cicero, IL; and Three Grandchildren – Adrian, Anabel, and Albert Barnes.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Marvin Barnes; and Two Brothers, James Larry and Bobby Barnes.
