John A. Sheets, 90, Cumberland Township, died yesterday afternoon at Annie M. Warner Hospital, Gettysburg. A farmer, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Eliza Wilson Sheets. He was the oldest member of Trinity Benders Reformed Church, Biglerville. His wife, Mary Virginia Zimmerman Sheets, died May 6, 1932. Surviving are a son, L. Alvin, Gettysburg R, D. 3; a grandson and two great-grandchilren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p, m. Friday at the Bender funeral home, Gettysburg. The Rev Nevin R. Frantz will officiate. Burial will be In Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday.
