CONCORDIA - The funeral for George Edward Bisnett, 82, Aurora, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia, the Rev. Stephen Letourneau officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.
Mr. Bisnett died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia. He was born Aug. 7, 1898, at Wakefield. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Aurora most of his life. Mr. Bisnett was a member of the Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mabel, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Dillner and Mrs. Louise Sutton, both of Beloit; three sons, Raymond, Perry, Okla.; Delmar and Virgil, both of Hoyt; two sisters, Rosa Wiggleworth, Arlington, Calif., and Ida Threewitt, Bakersfield, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The rosary will DC recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia, where friends may call. The family suggests memorials to the Capper Foundation, the Heart Fund or the Epilepsy Foundation.
