Justin Aaron Smith, 25, of High Springs, Fla., died on June 30, 2009 in Orlando, Fla.

Smith was born on March 19, 1984 in Killeen, Texas. Smith moved to High Springs in 2004.

Smith graduated from Copperas Cove High School, in Copperas Cove, Texas on May 13, 2003.

Smith was employed at The Feed Store in High Springs and had worked at the Island Food Shell Station in High Springs and at a hardware store near Orlando.

Hobbies that Smith enjoyed included being outdoors, helping others, hunting, going to the shooting range and watching NASCAR.

He is survived by his mother and his stepfather, Cherri and Mark Catlin of High Springs; his brother, Sgt. Cris Smith of Michigan; his sister, Kelsey Smith, of Copperas Cove; his stepbrother, Gregory Dobbins, of High Springs; his maternal grandparents, Don Clemons of Somona, Calif. and Sharon Clemons; his paternal grandmother, Erdine Smith, of Copperas Cove; his step-grandparents, John and Marion Scott of Lake City, Fla.; his step grandparents, April Dolny, of Virginia, and Richard Catlin, of Nanticoke, Md.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on July 11 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church located at 250 N.W. First Avenue in High Springs.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations to cover the cost of the funeral and medical bills be made. Donations can be sent to Cherri Catlin at P.O. Box 847, High Springs, Fla. 32655.
