William B. Alexander, 80, of 2310 N. Travis, died at 6:30 p.m. MOnday in Cox Medical Center after a long illness.
He was lifelong Springfield resident and a retired carpenter with Frisco Railway. He was also a member of Boulevard Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Pansy: two sons, Roland C. of Route 1, Springfield, and David F. of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Janie Goodwin, Northside Nursing Home; six grand children and one great-frandchild.
Serives will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Klinger Chapel, with the Rev. Bob Dasal and the Rev. W. L. Murdaugh officiating. Burial will be in Danforth cmemtery under direvtion of Klinger.
