Clifford H. Babbitt 59, of Route 104B Town of New Haven, died Tuesday evening, April 7, 1970 at the Oswego County Infirmary. He was born December 21, 1910 in Rodman, son of Hadley and Addie Wright Babbitt. In 1929 he married Miss Mabel Tiff. He was a construction worker and a member of the Colosse Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alice Tanner of Mexico and Mrs. Frances Stone of New Haven; two sons, Robert Babbitt of New Haven and Richard Babbitt of Mexico; several grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Hazel Loveland, and Mrs. Bertha Prouty, both of Adams and Mrs. Rose LaClaire of Watertown.
Services were April 10, 1970 at the Miner Funeral Home, the Rev. David Nicholos, pastor of the Colosse Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the New Haven Cemetery.
