Norma J. Chubbuck, of Waterville, Maine passed away on October 11, 2006 after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. Norma entered the world on August 16, 1962, into the waiting arms of her parents Leola (Cook) and Norman MacDonald. She was their second child.
She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and grandmother.
She grew up in a loving home in Albion, Maine where she met and married Edwin Chubbuck on August 23, 1980. They had their first child Melissa on December 12, 1982 to be followed a couple years later by Christopher on May 14, 1985. Norma was also blessed with a loving step daughter Deana Tanner of Atlantic Beach, FL with whom she has remained close.
Norma was a devoted stay at home mother who loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. Norma followed her own path in life, spreading her love as she went.
Norma attended Lawrence High School, later going on to proudly earn her G.E.D. from Waterville. She was a woman who put her heart and soul into everything she did and for that she will forever be loved.
She was predeceased by her loving parents.

She is survived by her children; her step daughter; her son-in-law James O'Clair of Oakland; her sister Tina McCaslin and her husband Jeff of Winslow; her brother Brian MacDonald ; her sister-in-law Cindy MacDonald both of Waterville; and her granddaughter Angelique O'Clair of Oakland; many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours are Sunday, October 15, 2006 from 6-8 pm at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St. Fairfield, Maine. Graveside Services will be held on October 16, 2006 at 10:00 am at Number 4 Cemetery in Albion, Maine.
